Back and not as good as ever.

ABOUT AYN
Ate Your Neighbors
This is my mission statement. I wrote it a few years ago for a different launch of this site and haven't looked at it since. Should be good enough ;-)
I have an idea. I’m not sure if its going to go as smoothly as I hope, even come into one coherent idea, or take off like I hope it will, but it’s worth a shot. Car blogs aren’t original. “The scene” is flooded with them. The thing is half of them are serial reposters, straight off a repost… from a repost. Whats the point? One of the biggest ones out there right now even started as a rip off pile of shit too but nobody noticed. Trust me almost everything here will be reposts, but direct screenshots with Instagram names in place and credit always given by any means necessary. It’s going to be different, promise. Most of the market is in imports; Japanese and euros, I happen to prefer Japanese and spend a large amount of my time looking at cars and such on Instagram, as I’m sure most of you do as well, with the popular page formatted how it is and seeing what other car people and pages liked I ended up coming across a large amount of Japanese car pages, usually the actual owners of the cars, a good amount of them not speaking English…because they’re actually from Japan. These are what influence 90% of the trends in import cars in our country. Everyone knows that. “JDM” or Japanese Domestic Market for any newcomers to the car world. Domestic just means existing in the home country. So even aftermarket parts created and/or bought in Japan are JDM. The irony of the JDM movement is that USDM is a big part of the car scene in Japan. Everyone wants imports no matter where they are. OEM JDM parts are very expensive in the U.S. I don’t think I really need to explain why. However even the Japanese domestic aftermarket scene where most of the ideas are invented and purchased, is much larger than our Japanese import scene. So many of the accessories that I and many other people see are hard to find in stock in the US online or otherwise and seem impossible to find anywhere. I’ve put a lot of time into finding these things and come up with some pretty good leads. I have made connections to make these things available locally at a very affordable price. The stock will start out small, because this is a one man job and I’m by no means well off. I don’t claim to be poor either, I’ve worked for everything I have in another field I’m passionate about and still maintain a full time job. This is just another passion of mine and I’d like to open a new chapter in developing my hobby, and hopefully help other people out with the same passion and hobby. I promise to be a reliable shipper, and make stock available whenever I can. Nothing will be put up for sale that is not 100% in stock. Surely you’ve run into that on certain sites; they claim to have something in stock, let you purchase for full price, only to email and mention that the item is back ordered til sometime between a week and five years. This isn’t to say listings of items that are sold out won’t be seen, they’ll be displayed as out of stock, just to let you know what you can get in the future I digressed into my business plan, but back to the blog side. As mentioned earlier posts will be direct screen shots from Instagram, usernames attached, of cars found in Japan, stateside as well, or wherever, for the world to see, to hopefully get inspired by seeing amazing original lesser known cars. Hopefully the original posters and owners appreciate being shared as well. obviously user submissions and suggestions will be accepted and taken into consideration as well. These posts won’t just be “stance”, tuners, high horse power, or drift cars either. There will be plenty of old school stock Japanese cars, 90’s era flash backs, straight out of Compton low riders from Japan, and new coming vintage throwbacks like Fast and the Furious 1 type cars, even crazy box trucks with blinking lights all over that has a certain name in Japanese that I can’t think of right now, and everything in between. The pages will vary from low level followers, up to pages most of you have seen, but you never know who hasn’t. You’ll see. If you actually read this far..its appreciated.
